I first met Brandt and Nicolette when Brandt put a post on a local Facebook group asking for engagement photographers in the Glen Arbor area while they were up visiting. I put my name out there, along with so many others, and was so excited when he reached out! We ended up doing their engagement session at the dunes, and then later on they booked me for their wedding! Knowing them for only a day, was enough to know how kind and thoughtful these two were!
Fast forward a year, it was a sunny day in Grand Rapids, MI and the videographer and I thought that it would be perfect to set an intimate scene at the top of a parking garage just around the block from their venue. Nicolette slowly walked up behind her soon-to-be husband where he turned, and they both put us all in tears. The connection these two have is a match made in Heaven. They each took time reading their vows to one another, it was such a special moment to witness. Seeing how present they were with each other and how sincere their words were - I will never forget how beautiful this was.
After the vows were finished, we took bride and groom portraits, before the bridal party met us up top. Because it was such a gorgeous day and the streets were full, we took advantage of the empty garage space. I think it complemented the downtown atmosphere and their wedding day look so well!
